The College was established on September 1st, 1978 by Decision No. 58 / QD – UB of Lam Dong People’s Committee with the name of Lam Dong Medica

School. On May 15th, 2009, it was upgraded to Lam Dong Medical College (LMC) by Decision No. 3505 / QD – BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training. For over 37 years of establishment and development, the LMC has trained more than 40 thousand medical workers. Many of them currently hold the key positions of the province’s healthcare system. Since its founding, the LMC regularly maintains cooperative relationships with international organizations in order to improve its capacity of training and doing research works. Currently, LMC owns a solid teaching staff and teachers who are experienced, enthusiastic, well-trained domestically and abroad (France, USA, Netherlands, Japan, etc.).
